The weather has been horrible to get offshore, we have had to cancel our charter.

Snook fishing on the other hand has been very good. There has been a good amount of small flounders around Sebastian inlet and some large over slot redfish!

I really enjoy reading the Tribenwater fishing forum.

I found another good fish forum with lots of information. http://www.sportfishermen.com/board/ lots of detailed information on rigging, charters, tackle. They have done a fantasic job with this their site.

Thinking about Bluefin Tuna fishing in North Carolina. They are big and impressive, I posted on The Hull Truth Looking for guides. The information I can find on the migration says winter fishing is the best out of North Carolina. If we got blown out there are inshore options for large bluefish, strippers, flounder, mako sharks and a host of other fish species. Mako shark is very high on my list. I have just the right spot for a replica mount in the pool room. So far I only have 2 fish mounts, a small Largemouth bass and a sailfish I caught years ago in Miami. Depending on the price I would like to get some others done.

Fishing the Florida Everglades

There is only one Everglades in the World.

One third of Everglades National Park is covered by water, creating excellent boating and fishing opportunities. Snapper, sea trout, red fish, bass, and bluegill are plentiful. Saltwater fishing includes Florida Bay, Ten Thousand Islands, and elsewhere in the park’s coastal zone. Freshwater and saltwater fishing requires a separate Florida fishing licenses.

Fishing from the shore is very limited. However, park waters provide thousands of acres of shallow water ats, channels, and mangrove keys in which to shell. Before leaving shore, think safety! Currently gathering Everglades fishing information, I am hoping when it gets cooler to make the trip down, I do not want to be carried off by mosquitos. I have heard fishing should be good for snook, redfish, big sea trout, tarpon, jewfish, snapper. This has me written all over it.

Most of us have addictions of some sort.

Mine unfortunately is expensive, I love to travel and fish. The more I work the more I need to get out and explore the world. I have so many friends with the same addiction. How to you fund a habit like this.
